About

We're built for the ride.

Outdoor Hours started with a simple idea — that cycling isn't just a sport, a hobby, or a way to stay fit. It's a second nature. A way of moving through the world that, once it gets into you, never really leaves. You know the feeling. The moment you clip in and start moving and everything else drops away. The trees blur past. Birds cut through the air around you. The road or the trail opens up ahead and for a while, nothing else exists except the rhythm of it — legs turning, lungs working, the world becoming simple again.

That feeling is what Outdoor Hours is built around. Not the podiums. Not the Strava segments. Just the pure, uncomplicated act of being outside and moving through it.

Why we exist

We started because we couldn't find exactly what we wanted to wear. Cycling kit that looked good, felt better, and didn't feel like it was trying too hard. Most of what was out there was either too loud, too technical in that clinical way, or just didn't match the way we actually ride — which is to say, all kinds of ways. Road on a Tuesday. Trails on a Saturday. A long gravel loop somewhere in between.

We wanted something that worked across all of it. That felt considered without being precious. That was built to perform but didn't need to announce it. Apparel that belonged outdoors as much as the people wearing it.

So we made it ourselves.

What we make

Every piece in the Outdoor Hours range is designed to disappear on the bike. By that we mean: when the fit is right and the fabric is doing its job, you stop thinking about what you're wearing. You're just riding. That's the goal with everything we put out — kit that earns its place by getting out of the way and letting you move.

We obsess over the details that matter and leave out the ones that don't. Fit that holds without restricting. Fabrics that breathe when you're working hard and don't cling when you stop. Seams placed where they won't cause problems over long hours in the saddle. Pockets that actually hold things. Zips that work with gloves on.

Small things. But they add up over a four-hour ride.

Made for here

Outdoor Hours is an Australian brand, and that matters to us. The riding here is its own thing — big skies, long climbs, trails that go somewhere worth going. We design with Australian conditions in mind: the heat of a summer morning, the bite of a winter descent, the kind of terrain that rewards the riders who put in the time to know it.

From fire trail to open road, from solo sunrise spins to group rides that end at the café with everyone talking over each other about the climb — we're here for all of it. Every kind of rider. Every kind of ride.

Keep going.

That's really what it comes down to. Outdoor Hours exists for the people who keep showing up. Who set the alarm when they don't have to. Who ride in the cold because it's still better than not riding. Who know that the best part of any ride is the part where you forget you're having one.

We're glad you're here. Now get outside.
